World Federation of Building Cleaning Contractors holds its conference parallel with the International Cleaning Trade Fair CMS 2017 in Berlin for the first time – Preliminary programme with prominent speakers – Registration available at a preferential rate until 27 July 2017

Berlin will be the world capital of building cleaning this September. From 18 to 20 September 2017 the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) will be meeting parallel with the international cleaning trade fair CMS Berlin 2017 – Cleaning.Management.Services (19 – 22 Sept.) for the first time. The keynote subject of the world’s pre-eminent conference for the industry is ‘Cleaning in a Digital World – Processes, People, Technology’. Among the subjects under discussion will be the importance and impact of digitisation on business and society in the commercial cleaning sector, and the future challenges facing the industry. The influences on people – staff and customers alike – and automation will provide the main focus for the programme of papers. The venue is Hall 7 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds (Berlin ExpoCenter City). The WFBSC Congress will be opened by the EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger.

The 22nd WFBSC Congress will be bringing decision-makers from the cleaning sector all over the world to Berlin to exchange ideas and information, and is another reason why the CMS 2017 will be attracting outstanding trade visitors. For its participants the World Federation’s congress is also an opportunity to use the impressions gained at the CMS 2017, along with the up-to-date information about the industry that it provides, to engage in selective discussions with the world’s leading suppliers. It will also enable them to examine the latest trends and developments concerning all aspects of building management and services.

The various events accompanying the congress will provide ample opportunities for networking with business partners and others in the industry. They include the inaugural reception (17 Sept. 2017, Pavilion, Hotel InterContinental), a boat trip on the River  Spree (18 Sept. 2017), the Sponsors’ Evening (18 Sept. 2017, Wasserwerk), the CMS17 Evening (19 Sept. 2017) and the Gala Dinner (20 Sept. 2017, Palais am Funkturm).

Registration for the 22nd WFBSC Congress is available at a preferential rate until 27 July 2017. The participation fee for the congress is 1,200 euros (incl. 19% VAT), and 550 euros (incl. 19% VAT) for accompanying persons. For applications received after 27 July 2017 the fees will be 1,500 and 600 euros respectively. For applications and information: www.wfbsc2017.berlin.
